Healthy Blueberry Pie Smoothie | Dairy-Free

Now that the weather is warm and the sun is shining I’m excited to start enjoying my morning smoothies again. I don’t know about you, but I struggle to drink smoothies in the dead of winter. I love smoothies but getting out of my warm and cozy bed to drink a cold beverage just doesn’t appeal to me. So I’m very excited that the sun and warmth have finally arrived and I can get back to enjoying my morning smoothies. There’s something about a relaxing morning routine with smoothie in hand that helps set you up for a productive and energized day. This blueberry pie smoothie is the perfect companion to that morning routine.

This smoothie reminds me of summer picnics. Frolicking in the grass and then returning to your blanket to dive into a slice of summer berry pie. Nothing beats spending the day in the sun, fresh air, blooming flowers and the fresh flavours of summer berries. There’s something about summer berries that gets me very excited. The sweet smell and taste, the vibrant colours, and the endless ways to devour them 🙂 Celebrate the taste of summer with me. This smoothie has the vibrant purple colour and fruity flavour of a summer blueberry pie (and it’s appropriate to have for breakfast).
