Chocolate and hazelnuts are a match made in heaven. These little morsels of goodness make a perfect on the go snack or even a decedent quick dessert – maybe serve with chocolate sauce, coconut whip and some fresh fruit. OMG, that sounds so good, I might have to go do that right now!
Sweetened with gooey dates and maple syrup these chocolate hazelnut truffles are a guilt free decadent treat.
- 12 medjool dates
- 1 cup hazelnuts
- 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 Tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Process everything in a food processor until a sticky dough forms.
- Form into 1 inch balls and roll in cocoa powder
- Store in a airtight container in the fridge or freezer
