Cookie Dough Bites | 5 minutes

Happy weekend everyone! Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians 🇨🇦

I’ve got the perfect 5 minute dessert to save you all summer. No need to worry about those last minute guests popping by or the BBQ after a long work week – these cookie bites are delicious and ready to eat in five minutes.

You only need 5 ingredients and 5 minutes to have a delicious dessert. If you want to get fancy you can drizzle with melted chocolate but honestly they are delicious the simple way.

Cookie Dough Bites
Ingredients:

1/2 cup nut butter

1 Tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 1/4 cup almond meal

Hand full or two of mini chocolate chips

Directions:

In a medium bowl mix together the nut butter, coconut oil, vanilla and maple syrup.

Add in the almond meal and mix until well combined. Add chocolate chips and mix with your hands to form a dough ball. The dough should hold together when rolled between your hands.

Roll into bite sized balls and enjoy. If you’re ahead of the game pop them in an airtight container until party time.

*if you want to get a little fancy melt some chocolate and drizzle it over the bites with a fork and sprinkle with coconut flakes.

I hope you enjoy this stress free dessert that is perfect for any summer event.

xx,

Deanna
