Frozen “Hot Chocolate” Smoothie 


I love a good smoothie but there are days I don’t feel like having the classic fruit based smoothie. I want something at little more indulgent and rich. Something that feels more like dessert! This frozen hot chocolate smoothie has it all. The decedent smoothie you can still call breakfast. 

 


This recipe is packed with protein, healthy fats and minerals, such as magnesium. It tastes like dessert but is healthy enough to eat for breakfast without causing your blood sugar to go crazy. It’s the perfect way to eat chocolate in the morning 😊

Want to serve this recipe as dessert? Go ahead! Top each glass with some coconut whip and sprinkle with extra cocoa or chocolate chips. No one will know it’s healthy.

 


Frozen “Hot Chocolate” Smoothie

1 cup almond milk

1 1/2 cups ice

3 Tbsp cocoa powder

1 scoop protein powder (can use chocolate or vanilla)

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 Tbsp maple syrup

Blend everything together and enjoy!
