Protein snack bites are one of my favourite things to make. You can put pretty much anything in them and have a delicious on the go snack. They take no time at all to make and are the perfect portion controlled sweet tooth satisfier. These almond oatmeal bites might be my favourite recipe yet. They are crunchy with a little chew and not too sweet with a nice nutty flavour. They are delicious!!
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 4 Tbsp coconut oil
- 6 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 scoop protein powder, vanilla
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/3 cup hemp hearts
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 Tbsp coconut flakes
- 5 dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Add coconut oil, almond butter and maple syrup to a large mixing bowl and mix to combine.
- Add all dry ingredients and mix until everything is fully combined.
- Roll into bit sized balls and freeze in an airtight container.
