There is something special about sipping a frothy, frozen beverage on a hot sunny day. Last weekend was extremely warm and I desperately needed a cold and refreshing drink. That’s when I remembered I had some leftover coffee and the idea for a frozen latte came to life.
This recipe is extremely easy, takes 2 minutes and is so tasty! You will never need to pay $5 at the coffee shop again. Trust me!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coffee, cooled
1 cup almond milk (or other dairy-free milk)
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp maple syrup
15 ice cubes
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse to break up ice.
- After a couple minutes of pulsing give the mixture a quick blitz to make frothy.
- Pour into a mason jar or glass mug.
- To make fancy dollop with coconut cream and drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce.
Enjoy!
